THE FIX LIBRARY

Knowing the gap is not the same as closing it.

Knowing the gap is not the same as closing it.

Every business carries gaps it has learned to live with. Pricing set without knowing cost to serve. Delegation that never quite transferred. A forecast built on assumptions nobody checked. AI will not find them for you. It will build on them, confidently.

The Fix Library is where those get closed, one at a time, with the artefact to do it and the Check that proves you did it. £49 a month, no minimum term.

One complete Fix is free to read. All six parts, the working spreadsheet, no email required.

Built by a sitting CFO, former CEO, university board chair, and former head of AI capability in corporate banking.

what a fix is

The diagnostic tells you where to start. The Fix Library is there for what comes next: closing the exposure, and then knowing what you can hand to AI once it is closed.

A Fix does not stop at telling you what to do. It leaves you with the thing to use and the Check to run again next quarter, and the one after, without asking anyone.

The exposures the diagnostic finds are the places where AI makes a weak process faster rather than better. A Fix closes the exposure first, so the tools start working for you rather than against you.

A Fix is one exposure, closed properly. Every Fix has the same six parts.

01

The symptom. What you would notice in your business if this exposure is open. Written so you can tell in a minute whether it applies to you.

02

The cause. Why it happens in your kind of business specifically, not in business generally.

03

The move. What to do, in order, with the decisions already made. Not options to weigh. The one I would do, and why.

04

The artefact. The actual thing. The spreadsheet, the template, the agenda, the one-page format. Built, not described.

05

The Check. What should now be true, and by when. A number or a behaviour, not a feeling.

06

The AI leverage. What you can now hand to AI in this area, working from evidence you built rather than an average of businesses like yours, and the specific thing you would have got wrong before this exposure was closed.

The artefact changes how you run something. The Check proves that you did. The AI leverage is what that earns you.

Each one is written against a pattern, not a topic. The diagnostic tells us which pattern you are running, so you get the Fixes for your exposures rather than a shelf of things that might apply to somebody.

Every Fix comes from something I have had to do in a real business, not something I have read about.

Here is a complete Fix. All six parts, the working spreadsheet, no email required.

The Thirteen-Week Cashflow. The one most operators say they have and most do not actually update. Symptom, cause, the move, the file, how you know it is working, and what you can safely hand to AI once it is in place.

The artefact is a five-tab workbook, tested. It takes about an hour to build the first time, then twenty minutes a week to keep current.

The exposure this one closes does not announce itself. It shows up as expensive emergency finance, terms you would normally refuse, or a hire delayed because you cannot see whether you can afford it. None of it appears as a line in your accounts. Ask AI whether you can afford the hire and it will answer from the numbers you gave it, which is the problem. It appears as a business growing more slowly than it should, run by someone sleeping badly.

Read it. If it is not the standard you expected, do not subscribe.

what you get

The Fixes for your pattern. Written against the exposures the diagnostic found, so you know where to start, and what to stop trusting AI on until you have.

The whole library. Not just the Fixes for your pattern. When a pricing problem, a difficult hire or a cashflow squeeze turns up in eighteen months, the Fix for it is already there. Closing two exposures does not end the work, it surfaces the next two, which is why the library is access to a body of work rather than a course you finish. New ones are added continually, and existing ones kept current. Every Fix in the library is listed below, grouped by the five lenses the diagnostic uses. The published ones you can read now; the rest show you what is coming.

WHAT KEEPS HAPPENING

Your Exposure Register stays current. One page holding your two exposures, the Fixes in play, the Checks you have passed, and what you have parked deliberately. It fills in as you go, and it is what we work from at the Reckoning.

New Fixes arrive continually. Written against patterns rather than topics, so what arrives is aimed at how you actually operate. Existing ones are kept current as the tools change, which at the moment is constantly.

Closing two exposures surfaces the next two. That is not a sales line, it is what happens. A business that has fixed its cost to serve starts seeing its delegation problem. The library is there for the ones you have not met yet.

The Checks are reusable. Every Fix ships with the artefact and the Check that proves it worked. Run them again next quarter, and the one after, without asking anyone.

What To Tell AI About Your Business

how you check it

Every Fix has a Check. It tells you what should now be true, and by when. A number or a behaviour, not a feeling. You run it yourself, and it stays with you.

At ninety days, rerun the diagnostic. If you want to go further, bring both results to The Reckoning. The Check tells you whether you did the Fix. The Reckoning tells you whether it made a difference.

why it is £49

Because a Fix is written once and read by everyone with that pattern, and charging consulting rates for something that scales would be dishonest about what it is.

Judgement applied to your specific business costs more, and it should. That is the Operator Review.

When you join you get a note from me the same day, pointing at the Fixes for your pattern and the order I would do them in. If you get stuck partway through one, email me. That is not a support desk, it is me, and it is included.

No minimum term. If it stops being worth £49, leave. Anything you have downloaded stays yours. I need to know that.

where this fits

The diagnostic, free. Fifteen minutes. Names your pattern and your two exposures.

The Operator Review, £495. Up to an hour with me on the two exposures, and three moves. £250 for the first ten founders. Includes three months of the Library.

The Fix Library, £49 a month. Close the exposures, with the artefact to do it and the Check to prove you did.

The Reckoning, £195. Ninety days after a Review. Forty-five minutes with me on what moved, what did not, and what now stands in the way.

If you want to work it out yourself, start with the Library. If you want my judgement on where to start, book the Operator Review.

how to start

Start with the diagnostic. Fifteen minutes, free. It tells you where the exposures are.

Then close them. Everything published in the Fix Library is yours from the day you join.

START

The exposures close one at a time, and you can prove each one. Every one you close is one more thing you can hand to AI knowing what it is working from. That is the whole offer.
